Which sand to use under Mel's Mix in a higher bed? Empty Which sand to use under Mel's Mix in a higher bed?

I have a very sloped yard so we had to dig into it to make a level place for my bed, so my bed is 18" high  In the book Mel mentions if you have a higher bed to use sand under the Mel Mix to save on $$ and for better drainage.  Is there a certain kind of sand I should use?  Should I just buy the play sand that would go in a kids sand box?  Thanks!

Go with the cheapest option.   The ppint is to save money after all.   Smile 

Post pics!   We don't often get to see setups on slopes.
