I finished skinning my cattle panel greenhouse this weekend using the 6 mil pieces I bought a month ago. Big mistake trying to piece together, should have paid the extra money to buy a large enough piece to do the whole thing. Anyway I put in two 2x5 boxes, two 50 gal. barrels with 2x4's on top for a shelf. I need to add pea gravel over the weed cloth and I'm ready to start. I bought a remote read thermometer which works but I can't seem to find a place to put it so the sun doesn't affect the temperature read out. What do you all with greenhouses do?

I hung a direct read thermometer on the north side of an existing vertical 2x4.  I also have one sitting on the ground in the shade  of a box.  They read within a degree or two of each other.

Would love to see pictures of the construction process and/or when you're done!

You could build an instrument shelter--but the height really wouldn't matter for your application.

Thanks, I'll try that. The greenhouse frame is shown in my Avatar. Two of the three windows are covered. The door is facing west.
