Found a new source for coffee grounds for the compost pile...our church brews free coffee for hundreds of people each Sunday morning (two services).  Took home almost 1/2 a garbage bag full.  Felt like an idiot as we've been going there for years and never though of it before.  Then hit a two Starbucks on the way home.

Also made a great buy on coarse vermiculite...paid $22 for 4 CU FT...this is about $10 cheaper than the place I bought from last year.

Found a 48" wide metal shop shelving on Craigslist...need to pick up tomorrow and get my grow lights set up in the basement (was given three 48" Sunleaves Pioneer IV 48" T5 light fixtures for free last year).  Just weeks away from starting seeds indoors for the spring garden (cabbage and spinach).

I'll post some pics when I get everything set up.

Wow, what a haul!  Congratulations.  Would love to see your light setup when you get it up and running.  Nonna

landarch ,

Strong belief triggers the mind to find the way .

Funny how these little items you need to do All New Square Foot Gardening and plant raising just magically appear in time for when you want them

true...there is also a new neighborhood coffee shop that just opened a few blocks away...it will be convenient to collect grounds if they will save for me and have enough quantity.
