Hi, I am in Brisbane Australia and just came across SFG on the internet as I was researching for my new vegie garden. I was instantly drawn to the structure of a SFG as it just makes sense. The seeds are in and watering has started.
Looking forward to finding other Brisbanites using the method.

Belinda, Welcome to the Forum! We in the Northern Hemisphere love watching folks in the Southern Hemisphere garden. It is wonderful for folks who are freezing or snowed under to look at sunny, green photos. Please post photos as soon as you are allowed to, a week. Meanwhile, if you have a question or comment, ask away! That's what the Forum is for, a support for those who chose SFG or have general gardening questions.

Welcome to the SFG Forum. We discuss many aspects of gardening, but of particular interest is the Square Foot Gardening method outlined by Mel Bartholomew in his 2006 book All new Square Foot Gardening. This Forum is actually an extension of the SFG Foundation. Check out the link on the main page, left side, under the hover button.

If you've not already found it the left side of the home page has a downwards bobbly strip..click on it and there you will find lots of useful stuff wrt the All New Square foot Gardening ( AHSFG ) beginners and those wanting to find out the more direct working practices and deeper information.
