Re: Hello from Georgia
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I am not new to SFG, but most of my gardens were 'back home' in Southern Connecticut, which is in Southern New England. I figured I would be at home in the South, so I moved to Georgia. Last year was my first 3-season garden. Hope to do just a bit better each year, but I'm taking it one foot at a time!

Welcome, Carmelita.
One of the great things about this Forum is that there are folks to help no matter where you move.

Re: Hello from Georgia
Hello back at y'all,
Brrr, it's cold here. The only gardening happening is inside my house!
The Horned Melon seeds are growing (30 out of 36 seeds were good ones!)
Pigeon peas needed some bottom heat, but they are catching up.
Next week starts the serious seed starting.
Oh, look - my friend from C'bus Ohio is here...Hello there MB3, I see you!

Carmelita, our prayers are with you and your neighbors, both local and area states, for what the weather forcasters are predicting. Sure hope you stay safe. What is the latest information ya all are being given?
RoxiCox, any information from you as well?

Re: Hello from Georgia
The bad weather is gonna hit the northern part of the state; here in the Savannah area we will have 2 days of rain with night temperatures about 32F. I'm in a weather pocket so probably won't be quite that cold. (One of these days I will learn where the 'degree' symbol is on this keyboard!)
Or I could be completely wrong and get snowed on . Brrr.
