Need help with Layout

Hi, I'm new to gardening, after researching I decided that I would like to do a square foot garden.
I have all the plants I want to grow, I just don't know where to put them in my garden. Could someone help me please, either share a website that will help me or give me your opinion.

My garden is 4x8 (so 32 square feet)

I am planting....

6 squares of tomatoes (2 Celebrity, 2 Big Beef, 2 Mountain Spring)
6 squares of Bush Green Beans (I don't know the type)
1 square Dill
1 square Lavender
1 square Basil
1 square Onions
6 squares peppers (3 Gypsy, 3 California Wonder)
2 squares peas (I think Snow Peas)
8 squares Zucchini (2 plants)

Any ideas...

My thoughts...

First thing to consider is temperature. Spring planting onions & peas -- peas will be done by warm weather. Put them on the toms' trellis you haven't built yet. Toms & Zuchs & Peppers have to go out in WARM weather and peas need COOL weather, so peas should be done before you plant the warm-weather crops. Saves you some squares.

Second is companion planting. Beans do not like onions or tomatoes. Onions do not like peas or beans. Tomatoes don't like beans. Any chance you could make this 2 beds of 4x4? If not, just don't plant them side-by-side. If you can help it...

Third, is trellising. Are your toms bush or vine? If vine, they need trellises. Or cages. Beans need support. Peas need support. Peppers need support... Plant on a lot of cages.

Last, what is your orientation, where is north? What is your sunpath and for how many hours? If the long end is to the north, you could trellis four squares skip one and trellis 3 squares. An 8' trellis is hard to reach through for the fruit.

If the short end is to the north, you got to look at trellising or really tall cages for the vining toms on either the east or west. This will shade things.

But in general, I put the toms in the north squares, then the peppers, then the short herbs. You could underplant Toms with basil and Peppers with oregano and save squares. Zuchs in the front corners 1x1s so they can overflow into the walkway. Or across the east or west side depending on your sun path. Here I get about an hour of morning sun then sun all afternoon and evening, so putting tall things on the east doesn't really shade anything more than the 80' trees behind the garden.

I put my squashes in individual 2x2s so I didn't have to worry about them being crowded or shading other plants. Works out great because I start carrots and onions around the edges and pull those before the squash overshadow them.

But for you.... see if this makes sense, each plant is a square, starting on a long north side.

You need another bed!!! Then you could grow lots more onions, beans, and herbs. But that's how I went from 2 beds to 11.

Or you could do what I did with my first bed and just grab a plant blindly and start planting in one corner and keep going until you're out of plants. That works too.

I used the following site dedicated to companion plantings to create the grid I have below.

I created a cross grid in Excel and fill in good crosses with green and bad ones with red. This made it easy for me to quickly see what should not go near other plants. The x's are pairs were OK as I figured out how to fill in my squares . The worst was finding a home for dill, which does not play well with others.

Ultimately, I reduced the number of herbs going into my main garden because there were too many conflicts with them.
