Hello, and Happy Mother's Day from Orange County, CA
Finally bought vermiculite and moss to go with the compost...now I just need
to put boxes together. Our current garden consists of a 10 x 20 in-ground plot
in the neighborhood along with patio plants in pots.
#1 Garden delight - Tomatoes
# Garden annoyance - Aphids (discovered some on the dill seedlings...the fronds were discoloring and looking dry... I looked closely...they really
blend in.
#2 Garden annoyance - Digging. My better half literally broke a shovel in the clay yesterday (the metal part, not the handle!)
Anyway, been an SFG fan since I saw my first SFG at the San Juan Capistrano mission in San Juan Capistrano, California. Met Mel a few weeks later when he
was speaking in Huntington Beach, California.
So, Hello!

Welcome Dave! Come on over to the SoCal Regional thread. Lots of local info.
In the process of building new boxes myself. Been clearing overgrowth out of the way first. Not appreciating the blazing 90s and bright sun to do the work in though. :-)
