May18, 2002 we got one inch of snow in Nashua, NH (as my stepdaughter was gettng married - had to move ceremony inside.) So you never know.

My local nursery in central Ohio said we had frost in early June about 30 years ago. I won't gamble with transplanting tomatoes till late May since I want to plant once and feel safe about it. Otherwise worrying just wears me out. It's sad to lose plant babies when patience can avoid problems.

Here in Colorado, I've seen snow on the 4th of July, and about 11 years ago we went camping for Fathers Day and woke to the tent collapsing under about 6" of snow Shocked

I was in Florrisant, Colorado one summer when it snowed on July 4th...maybe the summer of 1988.

Mother Nature is a Wild Lady.
I have an old childhood picture of my sibs and myself ice skating around our parents home, just one of those freaky times where deep snow was melting then a very hard freeze came along. We strapped on the ice skates and skated around the property just a few inches above the lawn.
