Falling leaves in garden

Falling leaves in garden
I am having some little leaves and flowers blow by and fall in the garden. Do I remove them? Or should I let them decompose in the soil?

If there are enough to rake, then rake and add to compost, otherwise, I just leave them be.

sjb, it's a personal preference. Collect them by hand if your garden plants are small.

I have a hugh live oak tree near my garden. The prevailing winds blow the leaves into the garden. I leave the leaves where they land in the garden in the fall and winter. In the spring (at least a week before I plant so the ground can warm up) I remove the leaves from the beds, let the soil warm, then plant. The leaves that fall in the pathways, I leave in the pathways. Then I set my mulching mower real low and run over the leaves in the pathways a few times. Someday, I will have a nice thick layer of compost in my pathways that I can leave there or move elsewhere.
