looking for jerusalem artichokes to plant
We are in Northwestern ontario and are looking for tubers to plant wondering if anyone has a connection or knows of gardeners who are willing to part with some tubers. Not commonly grown around here our local greenhouse is also looking for suppliers. Any Help would be appreciated

Hey,
Believe it or not, you may be able to find them in a local grocery store in the produce department. I have seen them for sale there.
I am assuming you would probably have to get your tubers from someone in Canada, but I really do not know about cross border restrictions.

Re: looking for jerusalem artichokes to plant
I recently purchased some Jerusalem artichoke tubers on Amazon. All arrived good, and all are now showing leaves. The company I purchased them from is HMConlinetrading(1.5 lbs for USD16+$5 for shipping). Not sure about any rules regarding border transfers either. But yes, if you can find them in the grocery store, those will probably do just fine too.
