We suspect that is the way Panther will feel about his new housemate for a bit as well!

Thanks! Hubby just LOVES that nose!
Some are born with fuzz, but certainly not all. The degree of hairlessness can also change throughout their lifetime - age, hormones (some pregnant females can get FURRY!), weather, etc. So far none of our Sphynxes have ever had more than just a velvet fuzz on noses, except Panther, who always has a short layer of silky gray fur on all of his feet (nice socks!) and a puff of hair on the end of his tail (called a Lion Tip).

They would do about the same as us outside naked in the winter! Ours are royally pampered 100% indoor puddy tats with their own down comforter at the foot of the bed and fuzzy furniture covers on everything, along with strategically scattered fleece blankets throughout the house. I also knitted them their own wool kitty beds, felted them, and have fleece pieces stuffed inside them for extra softness. Ah, what we do for our children...

PS - I also have not updated my computer monitor to a flat panel yet because the 'kids' love to sit on top of the big old tube monitor because of the heat it produces.

Not on purpose! They have plotted and successfully escaped once! Actually, they just took advantage of my inattentiveness and sneaked out the back door when I left the screen unlatched. Jewels wandered out to the side of the house until she encountered one of the 'locals', then came tearing back to the porch begging to come in. Panther, on the other hand, was quite content to wander through the garden boxes and I had to drag him out from under the squash leaves. He was quite happy being a garden kitty, but we prefer they get their sunshine by laying on the window sill. The neighborhood kids love to come and point at the 'funny' kitties in the window!
Just got the news, we can pick up Pebbles on the weekend of the 26th!
