Winter is here 2013 Western mountains and high plains!
Well winter is officially set in for me in the Dakotas and I am sure for many of you as well! What are you doing in your gardens this time of year? I have plans of getting some weed cloth down and paths made, a few more catte panels to be put up and a few new beds too! But for now I think I am going to start a window garden, mostly lettuces, and see how they go! Had some salsa I put up tonight, love that bite of summer in a jar, yum! Since I am not busy in the garden this time of year I have been quite busy in the kitchen. I got a few new additions to the kitchen for Christmas that will keep me busy for awhile, a dehydrator, pasta roller, and the long awaited pressure canner hooray!
What do you all have going on during the winter months?
