Miracle-Gro Garden Soil? Empty Miracle-Gro Garden Soil?

I tried to do a search but I didn't get any results back that answered my question fully.

When my husband got all the supplies from Lowe's for my 4x4 box that he made me, he also bought three 6 cu. ft. bags of Miracle-Gro Garden Soil.

Would this be ok to use this in my SFG, if I add in some bags of compost/peat moss/potting soil with it?

Mel's mix would be optimal, but we can't always do what is optimal. I used Black Magic soil mix in some of my beds in place of some of the ingredients and so far I can't tell any difference in how the plants are growing.

As Mel says, we're not baking a cake.
