Greetings from Macau - SAR China - Zone 10
Hello from Macau - an SAR of China - 55 minutes from Hong Kong. A former Portuguese enclave - and now has the world's largest gaming revenues (US$32 Billion). Land is scarce - our total land area is 11 square miles. I've joined a community garden - the plot is 6 feet by 30 feet. I'll be only using 2 square meters and practice SFG in a zone 10 (tropical environment). I had a small garden when I lived in Canada and did some hydroponic growing 8-9 years ago.

to the forum, macaugardener! You said you're going to be using 2 square metres for your sfg in a 6' x 30' plot or is the whole community garden 6 x 30? In zone 10, I imagine you can garden year-round--lucky you! Again, welcome!

macaugardener.....Welcome to the forum. I've never grown in warm weather so I can't help but I imagine you'll be growing something or other year round.
A community garden is a good thing. A good place to share local ideas and have someone water your plants for you if you have to be away for awhile. Belonged to one here myself but also have my home garden.
Enjoy the new experience in a southern clime.
