How to eliminate seeing computer code (HTML) in posts
The display of HTML code in posts can be turned on and off by members. It is by default, turned off when new members register. Admin can't change the default settings.
HTML must be activated by each member, here's how:
You can now see pictures and stuff that was gobbledy-gook before.
Ironically, if you view the forum as a guest, the HTML code is not turned off.
HTML must be activated by each member, here's how:
- Click the 'profile' link in the green nav bar at the top of every page.
- Select the 'preferences' tab.
- Near the bottom it says: 'Always allow HTML ' select yes.
- Click the 'save' button at the bottom of the table.
You can now see pictures and stuff that was gobbledy-gook before.
Ironically, if you view the forum as a guest, the HTML code is not turned off.
