First time on Forum
Good afternoon from east central Georgia. I landed here by accident but it looks like one of those fortunate ones!
Last July I retired and now am able to devote a ton of time to my veggie garden where I am in process of turning it all into 4'x18' raised beds. There are 16 so far and at least three more to go. The transition from summer veggies to fall/winter kale, collards, etc is mostly complete.
I look forward to poking around in here but unfortunately the rest of today is spoken for.
Y'all have a decent day!

Welcome to the forum fellow Georgian. I am in Brooks, Ga, about 25 miles south of the Atlanta Airport. Wow, do you really have 16 beds that are 4' x 18' each bed. If so that is a lot of growing room. It must keep you busy.

Holy smokes, that is a lot of beds. I hope you keep posting on your progress . It would be interesting to see how it's done.
And welcome from your neighbor in the south.

Re: First time on Forum
Welcome to the forum. You say you are doing raised beds, but have you considered reading the book ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDENING. This is the how to manual and method that is supported by this forum. Although the comments and questions of other types of gardeners are welcome. Check out the book at Lowes, Home Depot, the library or Amazon (hard copy and Kindle). You might find something you like. I sure did.

Welcome to the site...
Get the All New Square Foot Gardening system under your belt and you'll have to change your name as weed & hoe is nigh on an obsolete action .
