I have seeds that have been sitting in dried paper towels and some in their original paper containers and would like to see if they're still viable. I put them in plastic bags with wet paper towels yesterday and put them in the frig, as I read online that this would help. Any ideas of reviving my heirloom seeds? Laughing

this would not "revive" them. if they are viable, they will sprout under those conditions.

I was with you until you put them in the fridge. That is too cold for tomato and pepper seeds. Seeds on damp paper towels inside a baggie on a warm surface will sprout if viable. A soon as you get the first rootlet, transfer to soil.
