What's with my tomatoes?
Any ideas on what is going on with this tomato plant? Watered like the rest, fed like the rest. The variety is Big Steak I believe. The plant itself looks spindly sort of. I've gotten a couple of "normal" tomatoes, but for the most part, they look like this.

Re: What's with my tomatoes?
the first photo looks like "cat facing"
It should not change the taste of the tomato. They should be just fine to eat -- if the catfacing is severe (yours don't have severe catfacing) you may have to cut off an under or over ripe part or two.
Usually this happens after a heatwave. The temps go way high for a while and then cool off.
It is not something that you did wrong, it just happens...
It tends to be more common with large tomatoes like Georgia Streak and other beefsteaks. (Although truth be told I have had cat-faced cherry tomatoes.)
As for the second photo- I can't really see what is going on..sorry
