Ants, Ants and more Ants
I'm new to gardening and this year I have decided to grow as much lettuce, spinach and courgettes as I can in pots, as well as a few tomatoes. I have planted, carrots, radishes, onions, shallots, parsnips and tomoatoes in the ground, along with a few herbs. Well, the spinach in the pots has bolted and is infested with ants. Some of the lettuce leaves are doing lovely as well as a couple of large lettuces. But I just have ants everywhere amongst everything and everwhere I look there are ants! Please can someone help and give me some advice as to what can I do to get rid of them. Many thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum. Have you seen or read the ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDEN book. It is the how to manual for folks on this forum. A former regional host lived in France. Check out the regional forums for additional local info.
There is a search feature on the lower left. There have been several threads about ant control.
