Eggplants are becoming profuse

Here's a shot of the cucumber trellis...this also shows how you can get some sun on the north side of tall plants...I have flowers and peppers here now but I used this area for lettuce and beets when it was shaded earlier in the year...there will be more shade here again now that we're past June 21st.

I've never grown tomato plants with clusters of fruit like this...the sun has been brutal the last week or so...been seing some cracking on crack-resistant varieties...vining exposes fruit to more sun I think.

Great looking gardens. Love the little toes and hands of your helper. How did you get the onions to grow so well? Mine are not making bulbs well at all.

I planted over six squares of onions, plus a small area outside a SFG box...many tiny ones (smaller than a pearl onion) went straight to the compost pile...not worth washing and cleaning off..they stayed the same size as when planted...they only sent up green on top. Some individual squares were really good, some not so good, and some squares had a mix of good and bad. No rhyme or reason as far as I can tell.
