I'm about to plant 3 blueberry bushes, and looking for info from anyone who has had success. They will go along a fenceline, and will get a little bit of shade in the late afternoon, but from what I've read, that should be OK? I'm planning on boxing out the planting area, in part to keep it neat and in uniform with the SFG boxes. Is planting 5 ft apart adequate for harvesting? I've got 3 varieties, 1 each, of an early, mid and late season. Is planting in Mel's mix adequate? Any other tips? Will be planting next weekend (hopefully).
Thanks!

Nancy,
I don't have any experience with blueberries. I buy mine from a local farmer's market in Virginia and we go pick huckleberries in the mountains when they are in season.

I did find these two threads for you here on our forum (did a search). Maybe you can talk with these folks and get some pointers.

I'll be interested in hearing how it goes!
