I don't know how I happened to come across this thread, but it sure made my day seeing how amazing your garden is! Mine has never come close to what you have! I think you can say your first year square foot gardening was an amazing success! It must be the magic your little girl put into it, right, lol! She is adorable!

Your garden rocks! It's beautiful. I love the way you used all the bamboo. Bamboo grows wild in my yard and my neighbors yard and I was planning on harvesting some of it to use, but it's nowhere near the size of those poles you have. We had cut it back years ago and gotten rid of it, but it comes back after awhile, and over the years it finally started coming back. I love it. My parents hated it when I was younger. They wanted everything nice and manicured, and I like things more natural and wild.
Thanks for sharing. It was a delight peeking in.

One of the prettiest DIY gardens Ive seen and saw you won 2nd place in Mel's contest last year. Im amazed you did all that with 2 littles. I have 2 myself around the same age and cant believe how much you accomplished while being a dad. What an inspiration you are!
