Question on Snap peas

First, I replanted my peas this week as my first 4 boxes didn't grow. 3 of the 32 came up... Of those 3, I already have flowers on two, and they are only a foot or so tall... Is this a bad sign??

I've had some real trouble in the past with peas, too. Usually a bird or critter stealing the pea seeds before they get a chance to sprout. Replanting works though. Keep an eye on the new seeds. You could try covering them with cheesecloth or something similar to keep critters out of there.

As for your three plants that made it, they look good to me! Don't worry about them having flowers already. If you ask me, that's a good sign. Vining peas continuously grow and flower for a long time as long as you keep the peas well picked.

Could you have planted a "dwarf" variety?

Thanks!! I see 10 or so already popping through the soil so I think they are going to be ok!!! Thanks for the info on the flowering, I was afraid I stressed them planting in March.
