Weeds or Seeds
OK, this is my first gardening attempt since I was 10 years old helping my great grandfather
I was going to plant some green onions, and thought I was doing good till I had a little oppsy with the packet. Needless to say I scattered them pretty well. now I got a few green chutes coming up. The box they are planting in is a traditional raised garden where I tilled the earth, and put some potting soil and compost on top of it. (I did not know about SFG at that time) and now I got some green chutes coming up, they are 2 blades each and they are no where near where I planted them (I think also forgot where I planted them since they are all underground)
So would these be my seeds or am I farming weeds again

Re: Weeds or Seeds
Does it look like skinny little blades of grass? or two distinct leaves on a stem? The blades of grass would be onions.
Can you take a picture of what you've got happening?

it looks like little blades of grass that went down to a white chute. I do not want to dig them up or harm them. I got picture somewheres of my first items I have grown.

Re: Weeds or Seeds
Well I got curious when I seen more of them poping up in another box and pulled one up and I am guessing it was a weed from the ground. It was in a traditional raised bed garden. The root system was about 6 inches long and had little balls on it
