Yellow Springs, Ohio Newbie!
Hi there, I was kinda confused about where to post that I was here and a newbie at this. I live in an apartment with a cement slab as my personal back yard and am wanting to grow try to grow as much of what my family eats. I was thinking of building a big box to plant in and want to do only organic(non-GMO and all that crap). LOL. Any tips on getting started and where to get the seeds. Also, don't worry, I plan on doing a lot of reading from this new forum I've just joined! Any other Yellow Springer's?

Re: Yellow Springs, Ohio Newbie!
Hi and welcome! I'm new here, too! I purchased my non-GMO seeds at Baker Creek. They have extremely fast turnaround and great germination rates (at least for the ones I've ordered).

READ THE ANSFG BOOK
The best advise I can give you is get a copy of Mel's 2006 book ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING. Available in Lowes, Home Depot, on Amazon, and can be downloaded into a Kindle, Nook, computer or phone app. Also can be found in public libraries.
The book and this forum make the best team.
