Holes in leaves Empty Holes in leaves

I have been searching on line to diagnose the holes in my leaves. My radishes showed first. then the bush beans started to get them. They are planted about 8'from each other. I cant fins any bugs on the plants. Is there anything else it could be?

That was what I thought it was. But I have searched and searched but cannot find a beetle anywhere. The markings on the leaves are similar.

I'm resigned to "it's larvae time."

You're probably getting lots of eggs and larvae from various flying things, and they eat.

I thought mine were coming up from the ground until I learned the eggs take 3 days to hatch. Some of these larvae are super tiny.

And, whether it's a 'cabbage worm' or an 'army worm' they aren't THAT crop specific. They'll eat what's available.

From what I've been reading, covering is the way to go until the plants flower, then uncover if they need to be polinated.

I'm dealing with the same thing. Tulle? or gauze? Tulle now? cheesecloth later to block the hot summer sun?

Oh...the possible solutions tumbling through my head!
