"Holey" Broccoli Batman

Hi All...

This is my first time giving broccoli a go. These are transplants from my seedlings and have been out in the garden for about 5 weeks. Now they are getting a little "holey".. and I can't find ANY pest. All 5 of my plants have these holes. I even got out the magnifying glass because my girlish vision isn't quite what it used to be. I have found nada.

Any thoughts?? Help appreciated.

Ideas?? Anyone? My broccoli pretty much looks like baby swiss now and I have still not seen a single bug/pest. I did treat with neem yesterday... i sprayed half the plants. Only more holes today.

If it is leaving little tiny holes it may be flea beetles, if big holes and edges of the leaf gone , may be cabbage worms. Put some tulle or netting or row cover over it.

Snails can leave little round hole too depending on what kind of snails they are. You may want to go on a midnight snail hunting trip just to be sure.
