Hello all,

I'm from Southern Wisconsin and I've been reading about SFG and have decided to give it a try. I built by first box today and can't wait to get started, SFG sounds like an enjoyable way to garden. I've had such a big garden in the past and it always seemed to get over-run with weeds. Anybody else from around my area?

Hi and welcome! Can't offer you much advise as I just got here myself. Wish you the best and I hope your garden is great!

Hi Adam!

I know there are some folks in Iowa (one is CindyLou) and Chicago (one is Windsor.Parker). I'm in central Illinois so a bit farther south... Hopefully if there are others from Wisconsin they will join in.

I think you will love SFG - you can pretty much count the weeds on one hand and it's so easy to keep up with! Smile

glad you\'re here to the Forum! Psst...we love pics! Smile

Let's go Bucky and Marquette. Thursday after you finish admiring your box you can watch games back-to-back rather than at the same time.

SFG'ers can be hoops fans too cheers

Welcome! I'm new to SFG this year, too. I'm not in Wisconsin, I'm in Indiana, but the NW corner, so about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to the Wisconsin border. We're about in the same temperature zone. I'm really excited about the new gardens I'm doing this year.

Its typically way to early to start planting anything here at this time of year but this year has been exceptionally warm (low 80's the past week). Our usual high for this time is around mid-40s. We beat records for high-temps as well as high-low temps. The warmth is tempting me but I'm going to hold out a few more weeks just to be safe

Welcome to the Forum from Maine. We're getting unusually warm spring weather right now but I won't let it fool me. Next week we'll be back to freezing nights again.
