7 dangerous words! Twisted Evil
I've been working my "non-sfg" soil beds for over a month! But, as per ANSFG, I'm waiting for c. 50F soil temp to sow outdoors (except for one test square of peas sowed today in MM only moved outdoors today)!
Hardening off of my strongest seedlings (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage) will start after a couple more weeks growing (once they've been potted up), and will take about 2 weeks.

Broccoli Seedlings:

Brussels Sprouts Seedlings:

Cabbage Seedlings:

I wish my broccoli looked like that! How old are those seedlings?

Thanks Kay, and brios86.
Those are my 1st ever broccoli seedlings at almost a month old. All the great info in ANSFG has been a tremendous help! Thought I'd try some "test" germinations after reading here that some members do so. Well these guys sprouted in only 4 days in moist paper towels!
affraid
The book should warn you however, to only use that method if you have EXCELLENT eyesight. I'll be using soil blocks from now on. Smile
