Garlic order arrived this week
For years I have wanted to try the variety called Music. Finally got my order this week from Filaree. It is supposedly milder than the German Red I have grown the past several years. Once again I'm reduced to a little kid, waiting to plant this Fall and anticipate next years harvest. Gardening is all about hope, and it just Rocks!

Very nice LM. Good choice me thinks.
I picked up some Music and some Russian Red a few days ago for planting in October.

I ordered German Extra Hardy from Pinetree. Let me know how you guys like Music! I have heard of it.

I enjoy garlic so much and will certainly share comparisons in taste and heat next year between German Red and Music.

Re: Garlic order arrived this week
Good luck to all. We really enjoyed our first garlic adventure. The weather has prevented our fall gardening but this is our first dry week in a very long time. We hope to reclaim our garden boxes and are discussing weather our 15 year old garlic patch needs to be rebuilt. Step 1 in our fall season is drying up and it seems to be beginning. we are beginning to get excited and will of course post our progress we can hardly wait to try again. The garlic soaking it's toes in olive oil is very good!!!
