Hi from Central VA!
Hi, I'm in Chesterfield, VA and this is my first time with SFTG or any gardening for that matter! Wish me luck!

Re: Hi from Central VA!
May the luck of the Irish be with you. It's almost St. Patty's Day so you're sure to be blessed!
You've come to the right place for support and encouragement. Have you read Mel's book yet: All New Square Foot Gardening? After I read it I was ready to tear down the house next door so I'd have even more room for gardens! Unfortunately the neighbors would not agree to it!
Visit here often. Ask questions, add comments and get ready for the easiest and most successful gardening experience anyone could have!

My name is Ward in Wake, Va (Middlesex County) and there is a 6 year veteran in Yorktown, VA.
The first advice is to get and read the "ALL NEW Square Foot Gardening" book. If you have a Lowe's nearby they should have it.
Let me know if I can help you in any way.
God Bless, Ward.

Re: Hi from Central VA!
Things are looking pretty good so far. I have been able to harvest my greens, though the broccoli had some issues when it got too hot a few weeks ago. The radishes are really developing some tops, but I don't think they are ready to harvest. I hope they come in soon!
How do I post pictures on this thing? They are all on my facebook page.
