I'm not doing any serious testing. but I found a site that is. I believe it will be helpful to us. I also joined the filed testing community to follow up.

So its been over 5 months since the last post. Any results to report? Curious minds want to know. Very Happy

Sorry, I missed this in October.

No improvements in the remaining cool crops that I tested. I lost interest in trying the same experiment with some warm season crops.

Perhaps you'd like to contribute to this thread.

Has,  I was going to post the video but you beat me to it.

Double checked.  THIS was the video I was going to post.

Doesn't sound worth it for me to add rock dust or biochar.  Feeding the MM with organic matter (home compost and worms) seems to work good for my purist  Very Happy  sfg garden.

I suppose it could be that some of us already have rock dust our gardens. I live where thousands of years ago glaciers rolled down the valley where the Columbia River runs and I live just beneath a Kame Terrace.

both biochar and azomite did not win, but may make some changes in the future. The biochar is a long term product.  The results he had with azomite on the collards equal what I had, but I haven't seen any real changes myself in my other plants, except I did had a late explosion of peppers and tomatoes production up to 3 weeks ago, this has never occurred in my garden.
I'm excited that he's continuing for 2 more year and has a community that helping put in peer to peer results. that's exciting. I'm going to check out stephen channel too.  these products may change with age, but to be honest with my new beds they won't be added. I like the SFG concept of keeping it simple, but I must admit I want the best looking plants, best taste, best yield and DISEASE FREE.

I noticed he having great results with his coffee grounds , vermicompsting and composting (SFG + coffee grounds supplements). I noticed he's only adding the coffee as his topping fertilizer and moved to the BTE method where possible.
when I was an small scale organic farmer i did sheet composting using only leaves and cow manure. later I changed to just leaves and mulched with grass which gave me an tremendous yield. The worm changed my red clay to beautiful dark, rick sandy loam with a depth approx 10 inches. I just got tired of fighting weeds and pulling out the tiller. at that time of me going SFG , I had not heard of the "no till method".
his process is so close to what I used to do. Next year Im going to tried this in a few bed for simplifying and set the bed up for winter composting in preparation for late winter and early spring planting.
My worms have exploded in the beds, but I need to complete the experiment of feeding from those chambers I installed last spring, to see if I can get better results.

Interesting concept. It's good that it is running for a couple of more years to see if this holds true.
