Ok, so I found a way to make the smiley's display a bit larger. It's a bit messy looking, but easier to see.

Smiley's should be easier to use now. Check them out. Cool I think they're a good size and less intrusive.

JUST one thing I have noticed.... some of these larger emoticons seem to be hard to send.
I have been trying to send a post and it just would not post, and when I removed the emoticon, it posted right away, like usual...Whoops, I just tried to post this one and it would not post, so much for that theory, must be something else wrong

You can do multiple quotes this way, from multiple users.
As far as I can tell, the quote features work just fine. It's just going to take some getting used to if you aren't familiar with the different ways of doing things on a forum.

Here's a bad capture, but perhaps it will give you a better idea:

In the above example, don't forget to hit the EDITOR MODE option!![/quote]
Hi Rooster,
After reading your kind suggestions, sorry to say I still can't decipher what you said. But, I can quote normally now. Thanks! Smile

Okay, looks like the powers that be have done some work on the new editor. I've looked at the wysiwyg mode very briefly (as I don't use it) and it seems to work. I've still got the temporary fix in place, but will be removing it shortly. Smile

Looks like a couple other minor changes, like the emoticons.

I would also like to give FAIR WARNING! here. Forumotion is gearing up to stop all support for IE. They suggest Firefox and Chrome (me too! Very Happy) Also, if you're still running XP, Microsoft support ends April 2014.

So, in a nutshell...If you're still running XP, you need and upgrade! If you're running IE, you should switch to a different browser. Like Chrome or Firefox.

RoOsTeR,

Interesting about discontinuing IE. I've had nothing but trouble with it for several months now, so I've switched to Chrome.

Now if I had read this earlier, I would have known why trying to reply to a PM in IE8 locked up my computer!  bounce I am switching to Firefox permanently!
