I have a lot of seed packets!

6 different varieties of carrots
5 different lettuce packs
5 different varieties of beans
4 spinach (and I don't really eat spinach)
4 different packs of peas
3 summer squash
3 cucumbers
3 different varieties of radishes
3 different varieties of hot peppers
2 different varieties of pumpkins
2 different varieties of winter squash
parsnips
turnips
sunflowers
green peppers
11 different varieties of herbs (3 packs of sweet basil)

That list doesn't include the non-food seeds (gourds, flowers, etc)!

Does everyone have a stash like this? Is your stash bigger or smaller? Do you only buy what you are going to plant? Do you save your own seeds? Would this be a question better asked on a different thread??

Haha, JennAndCompany, that's a very large stash! I thought to myself, WOW, that's a lot of seeds! And then I started reading what you had, and realized it's pretty similar to what I have Very Happy

I have two LARGE ziplock bags of seed packets taking up space in my fridge. I'd go down and count them, but I'm totally lazy.

Now the question is, do you plan on using those seeds? Or did you just get them because they looked cool? Two weeks after my LFD, about half of my seeds will be gone Smile

The whole reason I pulled out my seed stash was to purge the seeds! I figured some of them must be ancient - LOL. Nope. The oldest seeds are 2010 (and probably still pretty decent and most are just last season), so I didn't end up getting rid of any of them. I am not sure I will actually ever use some of these seeds (spinach and summer squash for example). But I have hope I will at least plant some seeds from each pack (eventually).

Except for beans and maybe more carrots, I have planted all the seeds I need to this year (until the fall planting).

Jenn, don't be shy....build more beds! Use up those seeds. Just kidding, a wise woman once said to me: "If you have a bunch of seeds of unknown fertility, pick a part of the garden you're not using, and broadcast them. See what comes up, then use the fruit of your 'labor.'"

I love those streaming sites! The baby uppermost in the nest seems not as healthy as the other 2.
I use to watch a site from Africa, a watering hole that brought anything from elephants to hyenas!
