Senseless Banter...
So, I've had a few requests for a thread where we can go and just say anything. There is no subject, no topic, nothing. This is the place for you to come in and just say hi, good morning, you bought a new car, etc. This is basically the place to come and say whatever you wish but please remember our forum rules do still apply

ok I'll kick off the first senseless banter 
- if I won the lottery I'd get one of those rediculously expensive heated driveways installed and never worry about snow removal again.

Am thinking about buying my grandson a Harley. May go look at some today. This should be a hoot. All Gma know about a bike is it's got to be $10K or less :scratch: .

My hair turned GRAY years ago. And I have no grandchildren. Darn. Will those kids ever get married? They are still young though. My son is 23 and daughter 21. Lowe's "in store" employees Christmas party.
Howdy Folks:
We are having an 'at work' employees Christmas party today at our Lowe's. Bring the kids, spouses, SO's, DP's, etc.
Various prizes to be given away including tools, two 50 inch Sony flat screens, kids put together wooden cutouts, food, games and other stuff so I have better get cleaned up and go in early.

My Christmas break starts on January 1 and ends on January 3rd!
Well, I'm sort of kidding. We are closed for three days - the 24th, 25th and 26th. We are driving to New Jersey to visit my in-laws. They have a wonderful Christmas Eve party every year with family friends dating back to when my f-i-l was 12 years old! (One of them is the clergy member who performed our wedding ceremony.)
It's a wonderful group of people, and I love the years we get to go there for Christmas. The driving part, though not overly onerous, does somewhat make it feel like our Christmas break begins on 1/1, though!

Being a real Englishman speaking our Queens English I'm tickled pink ...curled up smiling with tears running down my cheeks ..
Is that a baby that's going to be grand or a baby grand piano or are you to become a Grandmother again in two months time ?
This site is magic ... all the nations of the world trying to communicate in an understandable way that gives brilliant humour and fun all the time .

Love the cultures here! It's definitely a human baby...a baby boy!
We had to find out, because big brother really wanted another sister! So mom and dad decided they'd better find out early. A new baby is a big change in the household, so wanted to keep the change as normal as possible. Big brother is now "on board" with a brother, so all is well. I'm sooo excited. I LOVE babies, and am loving being a grandma

We are expecting twin grandbabies with a due date of mid May. No twins on either side of the family, so this has been quite the surprise.
DH and I already have three grandchildren, ages 22 yo, 17 yo, and an 18 month old.
