We maintain a family friendly forum because SFG is the perfect method to introduce children to gardening.

Our forum content is continually growing as members discover and share new resources that make SFG even more convenient. Be sure to scroll down the page to see our regional forums in the U.S., and below them, the international forums. These forums were created to help you connect with other gardeners in climates similar to yours, to discuss more localized information such as weather, pests, and retailer sources.

Be sure to say hi, and remember, we really enjoy looking at pictures that members post. Our new software makes posting pictures and videos about as easy as it can be. There are simple, clear instructions posted in the 'How To' forum.

I am Boffer's successor as the Administrator of the forum. I also want to welcome you and say hello!

We are glad you are here and we welcome all your questions and any input you can offer. Everyone has something to add that can be helpful to another member! Even the newbies!

Remember when you search to try different search words because our search function searched the titles of posts not the body.

Remember that gardening can be as simple or as complicated as YOU choose....Mel's book makes it all as simple as it can be....and we as humans add the complication to taste.
