Fall garden on Gulf Coast
What fall crops do you grow along the gulf coast?
Is there still time to germinate peppers? Our local farmers co-op has no plants. Fortunately I started tomato seeds in early July. Having never done that, I thought I'd get 50% success rate, and then maybe loose a w of the seedlings in the heat. But no way. I now have 42 tomato plants. Ready for transplanting.
I want to plant lettuce, spinach, carrots, peas, peppers, tomatoes. Will these do well as a fall crop here?
Anything else?
What herbs do well?

Do you get frost where you are? All should grow for you in the winter, peppers and toms. would need protection if it was to frost.
