I think I picked this squash too early, but it kinda came off while I was looking at it. So, assuming it is too early, can I still use it? If so, how.

For reference it is longer than my hand and about a 4 or 5 inch diameter at it's thickest. It is white with green stripes and indents a bit with my nail, but not with my thumb.

I've always known delicata to be a smaller squash, so it may not have been too early. Also, there's no harm in using it early, I'm pretty sure. After all, there are certain kinds of winter squash that can be used like summer squash if you harvest it early. I would say just use it like you would have used it otherwise. If you did harvest it early, it probably won't keep very long though, so use it soonish.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Hmm, now what should I make?
