Black Swallowtail Butterfly. I would post a sight showing larval life cycle, but I'm too new to post outside links...

The fist stage looks like this as camo, birds mistake them for bird poo.Josh wrote:

These are fun... I caught about 10 this year, and have them in a clear plastic box. Just turned three loose last week. Mine are all in their cocoons now, I think there are 3 left.
