Fuzzy yellow caterpillars and slugs
I found a fuzzy yellow caterpillar on my pea vines. I found it because it left an enormous amount of droppings - I thought for sure a mouse was in the area, but when I looked up, i saw this thing. I got rid of it, but in googling I can't find any fuzzy yellow caterpillars that are garden pests particularly, so I'm thinking it's just a leaf eater in general.
And today I found a pile of droppings beneath my green bean vines. When I looked, I found a couple slugs on the leaves. Are they leaving these droppings? I wouldn't have thought so, but I don't see signs of anything else.

I do not know if NH is like western WA but something has been eating my bean leaves too. A few of them have had the edges eaten down. Many of them look like lace. I went on a slug hunt last night. There were a couple of small slugs but not equal to the damage I was seeing. Earwigs (pincher-bugs) seem to be the problem. You probably will not see those in the daylight. I'm told a can of water with a drop of tuna oil will start taking care of the problem. I've probably not been consistent with it.
