Sweet corn (pic)
I have babied my corn all season. However, the heat and drought really took a toll, and I suspect I didn't water sufficiently. I used water spikes and 1 two liter bottle of water per four squares. I had a mole who took a shortcut through the corn box to another box. I dreaded harvesting my corn, but finally did pull some, yesterday. Short ears, not full to the tips, but overall, not bad. Tasty, too!
