Re: pretty sights found while walking thru the garden
wow thats a cool pic Ann!
you know...most day's i tend to go out to the garden to see what there is to harvest.....now...i have been going into the garden's to really enjoy the sights and sounds....to really look at it
every day our family finds something new and exciting!...we are finding peace and harmony watching plants and insects working together.....amazment at what a tiny seed with helping hands, water and some sunlight can grow
I have to say this is one of our best summers spent as a family....we are not rushing off to go and due....
we are enjoying what we have right here in our own back yard
hugs
rose....who hopes our summer will continue with some much needed warmer days!

Re: pretty sights found while walking thru the garden
those are some beautiful pictures! I love just looking at my garden, smelling the fresh earth and green growing things when it's cool, and the perfumes of the flowers when it gets warm. I'd like to add a fountain to my garden as well- the sounds of moving water are so peaceful!

acra you must be up for a 6am feeding
hope the baby is doing well!!...
yes....i love them!......the best part is....i can take off one of the sides from one and hook it up onto another trellis if needed.....i had to do that with my tomato that is in my SFG....i snag one from my egg plant because she is being kinda slow growin and put it onto my tom who is getting large and needed some extra support
plus it will be easier to store come winter
hugs
rose....who can not sleep tonight.....

not sure what i love more.....eating the harvest or watching it grow

sometimes you really have to look in your garden....we didnt even know these guys were growing...they were tucked away......

sweet pea flowers my daughter planted in with her sugar snap peas that we thought didnt sprout

found this big guy on one of our sunflowers....before gardening we would have smushed him.....now he is a welcome friend in the garden

Re: pretty sights found while walking thru the garden
LavenderDebs shared some Black Czech pepper seeds with me. I started seeds for more plants than I could put in my SFG, so this little bloomer is still in a 3X3 pot on my porch. I was suprised to find a tree frog sitting on the blossom this morning. Unfortunately, he jumped before I could get a really clear picture.

Beautiful and fabulous reassurance from your MG!Furbalsmom wrote:07 30 11 Two frogs on a rose by my front porch . 08 05 11 Same Rose but just one frog.
Our local Master Gardener says this is a sign of good ecological health to have these tree frogs in your garden area.

They are so cute. They like to hang out in my DB's roses too.

I'm getting a lot of goosebumps while starring at the flowers. Makes me remember my days of love.
