Wild Turkey Hatch
Howdy Folks:
Our neighbor has a number of chickens and now wild turkeys. He was out bush hogging when he spooked a wild hen turkey from her nest in the tall grass. Figuring the hen would not return to the nest that was now in full view of predators he gathered the eggs and put them in his incubator. All 6 have hatched and are now happy in his hen house. Time will tell.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

Re: Wild Turkey Hatch
Just think - taters from the garden and a turkey from the coop, there's your Thanksgiving dinner without going to the store!

Re: Wild Turkey Hatch
Several years back I hunted turkey with shotgun and bow. They are not near as good table fare as a butterball by a long shot, kinda lean and tough with inferior flavor. I gave thanks for the hunt though.
