Italian Cucumbers
Long time from my last post. Wish I could attend the Baltimore Symposium but, alas, my son moves to college that weekend. Major bummer.
Well, on a brighter side, I am growing an Italian Cucumber from seeds I bought in Italy. They are yellowish colored right now but have a few days before they are ripe. The man in Rome told me they were the best cucumbers in the world. Quite a boast I would say. They are bigger in all respects than the others I have and they have a yellow tint to them. Can't wait for them to ripen totally.
Tomatoes are days away. So far, my Brandywine plant is setting tomatoes like crazy and seem good so far. Last year I had blossom end rot but there are no signs of that this year. Guess the lime worked it's trick this year.
Hope everyone has a great harvest.
