It's so hot that I caught one of the guys at work sitting next to the boiler to cool off!

Trying to keep the garden alive. 102 F today with a "feels like" temp of 115 F. What I watered well last night was wilted when I got home tonight. Will water most of tomorrow with the soaker hoses to keep the roots from cooking.

my background: I wear jeans in 80 degree weather and don't break a sweat. I wear long john's 6-7 months a year (depending on the weather) I am officially a cold blooded mammal!!! and I don't take any meds to make me this way!

In STL MO it is currently 99 degrees F with a heat index of 110 degrees. This is about as hot as I recall in the last few years, for this length of time.

heat wave, drought, dust storms, if things don't change soon I think we are in alot of trouble.
