Vine support questions
Can I plant more than 1 square foot away from the vine support and still have the plants reach the vine support?
Also, can a vine support ONLY be on the North side?
Any input would be appreciated!

Re: Vine support questions
If you train your vine, it should reach it.
The reason for trelis on the north side is so that crops that don't need shade don't get shaded, but most of us further south are screaming for shade by this time of year. In fact many here put up a trelis in the middle of the box for our cucumbers and try to grow lettuce under it, so if shade is not an issue than go for it, but you don't want all of your crops getting too much shade.
Oh and to the fourm
