So frustrated with the rain SFG on hold.
So my bf had two days off with the intention of putting in more boxes. I have my compost and peat moss and vermiculite waiting. BUT the freakin rain wont stop. I'm so mad I could um rave on the forum lol. My son was looking forward to putting in his jack o lanterns (not pumpkins lol). So I had to resort to using an old nursery pot to start his seeds in because I am afraid they wont be ready by Halloween. Anyway just venting lol. Thanks.

I didn't think things could get worse. How little I know. Rain on Saturday, the car came back with my partner making a funny noise, the car mainly making the noise although it was a pretty close run contest. Sunday, it stopped raining just long enough for me to fill my watertight wheelbarrow with soil, covered wheelbarrow in the rain with weedcloth which, despite the label saying it "let's water through" doesn't. Monday it rained, couldn't empty the barrow to mix new batch of MM. Tuesday rain stopped while I was in town with the car at the garage. Car likely to stop making the noise or any other sort of noise permanently very soon. Still raining.

I am so sorry for you both - it seems that the perfect balance is hard to come by at times. I have the opposite problem, hot and dry. I watch the weather every day and it will say showers and afternoon storms, but they have been shy at my house. As frustrating as this is for me, I was blessed to have an early, warm and appropriately damp spring which least to near perfect spring growing for me.
I will cross my fingers for you that the wind gods will send your rain my way and my sunshine to you - I share and play nice
good luck and get dry (enough to plant, then just showers to water all that hard work)

I hear ya. At least when it's dry you can water. It's not like you can un-water! But, my farmers are liking it, so I'm not going to complain too loudly!
