Zone? What zone?
Will not go into the various sources and labels I've just discovered for growing zones, but surfice it to say, mud has better tranlucency. So, the question is what is best current source for growing zone determination? While SFG's forums are really interesting and I suspect right to my points, there's a lot of other relevant material and it would be most useful to narrow my searches down.
Why am I reading instead of planting? Easy, but the list is long and would probably you.

Because you are tired? Because it is hot out? Because even on the most gorgeous day, we all eventually want to come inside?

According to this:
https://squarefoot.forumotion.com/t872-what-is-a-region-for-with-map
I am supposed to be in 8a, but with climate changes and the current drought, I'm adding to my zone, will be in 10 or 11 by the end of summer!

My goodness. In some ways all the changes makes us all test-gardeners, regardless of prior experience. Our magazine issued an "ATP" patch for "Amateur Test Pilots" as a result of flying experimental helicopters. Maybe its time to go back to my graphic's board and create a patch for test gardening.
Out here in the desert we've seen limited changes so far, especially this year. But, for those of you in other regions the changes must be shaking. It will be interesting in the extreme to watch the changes as they happen over the next many years. I wish everyone a safe passage through these times.
