I planted my sno-peas in front of the heirloom tomatoes. Was that a bad choice for that square? They are not doing much.

I just learned this from the board...sno peas are cool weather crops so for us in Fl this is not the time Rolling Eyes . I am keeping the two little sprouts to see what happens to them but of 5 seeds planted only 2 came up. If I understood the lesson well, we can grow green beans now...I have been battling a migraine so trying not to go out in the sun but I do want to run out and get some green bean seeds.

Glad you got beans as they should do well for you in the warmer weather.

Hope I can get my beans planted soon, still waiting for the soil to warm up a bit more. Finally hit 58 degrees in the community garden. Up from last week when it was 53.

My snow peas are about done in my zone, we are getting highs in the 80s now. I would think in FL that you could grow these in the winter. I planted mine in late Feb.

I think your beans will do great just planted some myself last week. A great resource for info on what and when to plant, in Spring Hills can be found at
