White Flys Empty White Flys

I have a sm. pot of MM that has white flys in it. The lettuce that was there I am sure was the sorce. I am concidering putting it in the freezer for a week to kill them. Do you think that will do the trick or will more just hatch out when the mix thaws.

Ok I am going the boiling water approach. That will be quicker and when I mix that MM back into the garden I am sure all the bio goodies will multiply back into boiled mix.

Maybe they are not white flys at all, not fungus gnats either?
